Endorsed Podiatrist

Through the governing body AHPRA, podiatrists are able to undergo extensive training to become endorsed to prescribe relevant scheduled medicines without GP involvement. Our podiatrist Andrew has been Endorsed since March 2024 and has been providing our patients (including consulting with other rooms) with short courses of appropriate relevant medications to treat their conditions including:

• Antibiotics 
• Anti-inflammatories
• Pre-procedural sedation (including Penthrox/Green-whistle)
• Cortisone injections to foot/ankle structures
• Topical cortisone creams
• And more

​This allows us to safely manage your whole condition in-house, without having to refer you back to your GP when not necessary.
